Part one with some loss to the top of the spine, some volumes the leather is splitting on the spine, rubbed at extremities. Inscription in first volume, signature on front free endpapers. Some minor spotting and age-toning. With 424 beautifull illustrations of various plants and fruits, not only for medical use but also illustrations of melon, pineapple, bannana, etc. by Turpin, one of the top French illustrators of botanical subjects at the time.
